Australia’s top 10 favourite veges

A new quarterly report by the Australian Vegetable Industry (AUSVEG) says that the most purchased vegetables by shoppers are carrots, lettuce, potato and tomatoes. These vegetables are so popular, twice as many of them are bought than any others. The report was produced to analyse trends in consumer behaviour and give growers the opportunity to be more responsive to the market and plan their harvests.
Onions, capsicum, mushroom, broccoli, pumpkin and zucchini also made the top 10.
